Why Did the First Version Get Thrown Away?
The first version of Reslide was vibe coded: built fast by prompting AI coding tools instead of being engineered carefully. It looked fine in a demo. It fell apart as soon as people tried to use it for real.
Images in the editor couldn't be edited. In places, neither could the text. Bugs fixed in one spot turned up in another. In most apps that would be annoying.
